MEETING OF THE COORDINATORS AND PARTICIPANTS OF ERASMUS + PROJECTS IN BH, REPRESENTATIVES OF THE AUTHORITY AND THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY

Representatives of the Erasmus + Project TEACHER, on Tuesday 12.02.2019. attended a meeting organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of the meeting was to find the best solutions for the urgent elimination of all obstacles to the implementation of the actual projects under the Erasmus + program, as well as the participation in the ongoing Call for Proposals.

In spite of all the obligations under the Agreement concluded between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina, concerning the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Erasmus + program, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s possibilities for submitting applications and participation in projects under the Capacity Building (CBHE) may be disputed. Approvement and implementation of the projects may be questioned, because there are no necessary preconditions for continuation of the activities in the field of higher education.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the government, the academic community and project coordinators whose implementation, due to the situation, has been questioned. Conclusions from the meeting will be subsequently published.
